Mr Chops guide to creating the web.
home.

Hi there!

After a bit of thought, I have decided that it would be best to try to maintain two sites, one purely for business, the other for hints, tips, news and opinions (of which I have many). As someone has already pointed out to me, I am something of an HTML evangelist.

So, this site , over time, should become populated with info useful to both web builders and casual browsers. If you have any suggestions ("anatomically impossible, Mr Garibaldi"), just use the contact form to send them in.

To start things off, here are a few, erm, issues that I've encountered recently.

Adobe

Over the years, I have spent a fair amount of cash on Adobe products. Photoshop since V4, ImageReady when it was a separate application, ImageStyler, Acrobat and GoLive have all been purchased.

I made the mistake of using the "Buy Now" option after fiddling with the trial version of GoLive. As a new version came out, I wondered whether the serial number that appears in the GoLive window would be usable for an upgrade, or, as is often the case, a CD of the original software was needed. So, I e-mailed Adobe sales about three months ago. I'm still waiting.
